I remember my Ayah Chik said, he has known not one other woman who is stronger than my aunty. Throw her anywhere, give her anything, nothing can ever break her.

Thanks to twice of heart attacks, when I received a phonecall from mother at 4am in the morning, I know its not good news.

On the other note, another departure, to the borneo.

My personal pick was Sofea Jane, albeit Black performed really bad that night (not as good as Semi Finals), I still think the song is strong.

Lambs, Shades, Hats, Kepala Sotong, and Kids Pool ; For the Win!

Fireworks hit the cloud and I was sipping teh tarik with Mama and Ayah at mamak while gossipping about Marion and Nasa wed ala-ala you may kiss the bride at Maldives.

So how has 2011 been to you?

Me, started great. We the cousins went to PD. It was such a bliss. A joy. Simple vacation I must say, but the best of a bunch. We did not only travel 100km up south, we traveled back 20 years ago where and when we all always went to holiday together.

We prepared our own food. Jogged to the beach. Jumped in the wave. Sing along while Piyie and Zamer strung the guitar. Played cards. Everybody dozed off to la-la land in the living hall, shared blankets and pillows, nobody cares to move in to the room. Berebut tandas ;p taking turns to make hot drinks and roti sardines.






See. Just like old time.

Back to reality, of course. Brothers suddenly have to change campus, my CNY leave not approved, crush has a girlfriend, cant attend Amalin's birthday, didn't manage to secure AJL tix. Oh well.

I just remember that time when we all try to cramp in the small pool and some of us had to try their best to sprinkle the water, and we would happily play cap kali cap.



Of course, back then, we would able fit 10 of us. Haha.

And then I'm back smiling again.

Little Girl Inside

Mama and Ayah were here for a few days. They picked me up from the office on Friday, went to my house for the first time, and kidnapped me for a heaventh gateaway for the weekend.

It is always the best thing to be the only child for a while ;p

Then there was this birthday party for little princess Hana Ardiyana. She's four, but this was the first ever birthday party for her. So it was so grand that everything was done with very particular details.



Me and Kakchik were in charged of the game, and tell you what, KIDS THEY DONT FEEL TIRED! oh my god. I have to beg them to slow down so I could take a sip! but No way Jose, they kept on bugging me with gamesss! OMG OMG OMG. But they all were such a sport. It is so cute to see them so enthuastic albeit the prizes were a lil bit funny (super ring, cheezels and such). They just wanna have fun!

But of course the hardest is to handle the Musical Chair for Adults. THEY CHEAT like you never know! Haha.



I had fun, the princess totally had fun. I hope everyone did :)

Sunday came, after a heavenly Asam Pedas lunch at Puncak Alam (thanks to Kak Yah and family) off we all went to the princess's Graduation Concert. She was so cute in her Bhangra and Hawaian costume, dancing twice and was smiling all the way :)



Later, Ayah, being a big fan of Lamb Kabsah, drove all the way from Kota Kemuning to Cyberjaya just to taste one from Saba Restaurant, before sending me back to Puchong.

Bercakap soal Pengorbanan

Bertolak dari Puchong pukul 8.00mlm, tiba di Kota Bharu pukul 8.00pagi besoknya. Bertolak pulang ke Kuala Lumpur menerusi penerbangan AirAsia jam 10.10 malam dari Lapangan Terbang Sultan Yahya Petra Kota Bharu, tibe di LCCT jam 11malam.

Mandi di Kota Bharu, tidur di Puchong Selangor, semuanya demi ini



yang bertukar menjadi Singgey Daging, Daging Bakar, Daging Goreng, Sup Tulang, Tulang kukus, dan blabla. Ya Allah nikmat.

Bercakap soal pengorbanan, korban saya nampak terlalu kerdil untuk dibandingkan dengan reward; cinta.

Berbuka puasa dengan family belah ayah is something so rare.
So near yet so far away from each other.

but it was a blissful nite altogether.

The joy of being home

One of the many-many things; the bottomless football games.



It gets better when watched with father or brother, or even mother. even the same game again and again :) (albeit not in spain damn it!)

Berbuka tadi, nasi kerabu kuning dan ayam percik putih (homemade yum!). Besok sahur Sup Kaki dan berbuka nasi beriyani, juga homemade.

Ini lebih baik dari Buffet RM98.90 hotel La Meridien KL, yang belum pasti kehalalannya :P

Dan ini untuk DJ XFM yang judmental; you suck.

Wad 2 Intan, HUSM, Kubang Kerian.

All of us are back in Kota Bharu. Not all, but most. This is heartbreaking in so many ways.

My uncle was warded 2 days ago due to his stage 4 brain cancer. The cell is very active, there's no way to make it less. We are prepared, as prepared as we can be.

"It's a matter of Quality and Quantity. Do you want him to stay alive longer but suffer; or to let him go before the pain really kicks in"

"Everyone dies; it's just a matter of how,"

For all we know, eventho the doctors said it may not be long for him, WE could go first. We never know.

Whatever He decides is best for him, we believe it was made best for all of us too.

This is heartbreaking in so many ways.

Helo. It always feels good to be home kan :D

Last night Mum and Dad brought me to the D'Hoteliers dinner. It's a semi-annually dinner organised by the Faculty of Hotel Management students of UiTm Dungun. Mum and Dad always bragged about this dinner which is not to be missed every semester.

The food is good (the chef-in-the-makings cook em) the decoration is extravaganza (these hotel managers sure are creative) and the dresses, always always tip top.

And so, here it goes!

The best of the night; Brasband. They won international okay. Bangga tak?

The funny thing is me and mother sibuk mengusha seorang jejaka lazat. Haha. Mum sure got some taste!

And dah balik rumah, bermalas-malasan bersama keluarga depan TV sambil surfing guna laptop ayah. Jakun! haha



Ok dah kena panggil dengan Datin untuk siap-siap! Minggu ini minggu busy buat preparation untik wedding JJ & Lily macam ini wedding I sendiri haha.

I have no idea why I love attending weddings. One reason that I can think of is I always love being around happy people.

In contrary to funerals, weddings are supposed to be happy occasion.

I'm happy most of the time, I belong to happy occasions.



Dapat sepupu baru yang cantik. Name die Mira.

I hope that the Infamous Bridesmaid Jinx (once a bridesmaid never a bride?) doesn't get near me. Haha. Nak kawen la nak kawen!



Nampak tak tu sape maid of honour tu tak takut ke kene jinx ha? ha?

Anyway I'm so happy for my cousins (and so penatttttttttt toooo kalah wedding sendiri)



Pengantin pon penat kot!

My besfren's mum is funny. Katanya 'orang tak ada kepandaian menguruskan rumahtangga pon ada orang nak. Anak aku ni kenapa belum ada orang nak?'

When Mom's birthday was around the corner, me and Brother did a little brainstorming to discuss what mother would like for her birthday present.

I suggested Crocs, but akif dengan confidentnya cakap, mama benci crocs.

Nak beli perfume, handbags, kasut, make up sume mustahil pasal mama dah banyak sangat nanti die membebel pulak.

So i know that the best gift i can give is MY BOYFRIEND but that one is non-purchasable so i ought for something i can buy from the store.




Ewah ewah mak kita masa mula-mula dapat hadiah macam budak kecik dapat lolipop.



Tadaa. It's a DIY Console Table. FYI Console table ni dah lama mama idam-idamkan tapi ayah insist taknak beli pasal rumah kita dah macam kedai perabot katanya.

So bila Console Table ni dah siap pasang semua pon, tak ada tempat nak letak.




Ayah cakap ibarat beli bas tak ada tempat nak parking ha-ha (inside joke!)

And sudahnya, kitorang vanish telephone corner. Meja lama campak tepi dan ganti console table baru. Tadaa!



And malamnya pergi dinner untuk celebrate, tapi Arif tak ada.
