24 hours in Los Angeles

Penerbangan dari New York selamat sampai ke Los Angeles seperti yang dijangka. Salwa dan rakan-rakannya (housemate baru, Fatma and Eja) dah pon tercongok kat balai ketibaan. Nampak je terus bercakap tak berhenti, update semua benda.

Apparently Fatma replaced my place at the house AND ALSO as the new goalkeeper of our futsal team. Good job Salwa nak recruit hosmet kene bagi syarat TAPI KENA MAIN FUTSAL haha.

Pergi Pak Akub kat tepi sungai sekali TUTUP ARGHHH sungguh tertekan!! tutup sabtu ahad pulak tu, sabar je lah!! terus ajak Salwa pergi makan Nasi Kukus, nasib baik bukak. pergh nikmatnya.

Jalan-jalan pusing Kuantan, Ya Allah rindunyaaaaaaaaa. Kuantan dah ada PapaRich! and dah ada 2 Coffee Street, rindu tengok bolaaaa sana :( ramainya melayu..haha. I jadi terbiasa dah cakap luai kan, lupaaa orang Kuantan mostly memang cakap teganu, indahnya suasana tak ramai bangsa asinggg haha.

Balik rumah lamaku, rindu! Tapi yang bestnya Salwa dah fully furnished k, gituuu! semua cavenzi haha. Eja dah ambik bilik I, katil I tilam I suma harta pusaka I dia ambek haha.

Malam pergi karok ala Kuantan, satu kepala RM5. T_T rindu hidup kos rendah! lepas tu pergi Teluk Chempedak ya Allah ramainya makhlukkkk tapi tak menyesal, walaupon jalan jam parking susah, tapi TC sangat happening, rinduuuuuuu jugak! sobsob. TC dah ada Burger King!

Esoknya bangun lambat, breakfast roti canai melayu (haha) melepak kat rumah tengok Korean series dekat TV LCD baru Salwa and lunch ikan patin masak tempoyak, life is a bliss. later lepak kat Starbucks ECM with Sham and wife and son. catching up!

Seronoknya bercuti ke Kuantan, hidup ala-ala Kuantan people balik for 24 hours, memang I rindu, tapi yang bestnya nampak KLCC finally I can say 'ahhhh KL again...you have been missed...'

Sehari je k nak rindu kesibukan kota. haih apalah... sampai-sampai cabaran bateri phone habis, kena call orang pakai public phone, semua tak angkat sebab takut bank offer credit card!! haha dasar orang kotaa!! nak beli LRT kena beratur panjang sebab ada bangla mana tak reti guna duit RM! tertekan betul, dah sampai turn I machine x accept duit RM10 note pulakkk kena pergi pecahkan and beratur balik, naik tren stuck for 10minutes, taktau kenapa. Sampai BJ Kak Ewie ambek sangkut pulak atas jalan (biasalah kotaaa) so singgah masjid for Maghrib.

Baru 2 jam dah merasa tekanan di kota kan! haha.

Macam dah nekad kot, nanti nak ajak encik husband pindah Kuantan lah, beli rumah kat Kubang Buaya, i boleh jadi fulltime housewife and little munchkins boleh sekolah kat Assunta. CITA CITA HARUS ADA!

Thank you Kuantan, I rindu u sangat-sangat. Setiap tempat I lalu mesti sibuk cakap kat Salwa 'waa ingat tak sini!' waa ingat tak itu, waa ingat tak ini! hehe. Rindu amat!

Tempat jatuh lagi dikenang, inikan pula tempat bercintaa!

Oh Waw. 2010.

I cant remember how 2010 started. Oh wait i think I just did. Raja, Ain, and Hamizah was in town, we celebrated new year with a glass of Starbucks Latte each.

By that time, town was Kuantan.

A few months later I met a guy and like him but nothing has been progressing ever since. I still like him, at times I miss him, but he's just a crush.

Supercousins' drama. Ah well, everything for the better :)

And then I became 24 and think 24 is too young for commitment, but too old for uncertainties.

In between, I fell in love with futsal, even got myself an Adidas Golden boots, competing in all kinds of tournament, not win any but, the love grows.

Futsies completed me.

Went to Cambodia and Vietnam right after my bestfriend got married, and when I came back, my whole life lifted to a whole different level.

THE World Cup.

Rooting for Germany, I stayed up late just to watch they kick Ghana's ass. I traveled to KL just to watch they beat England with supercousins. I wore their jersey and parade around Kuala Terengganu the day after they kick Argentina's ass.

I was so happy i gotten myself the Blackberry.

And then Sundies come to watch the Finale with me. Sundies. They are the gift :)

Work still not getting any better, but I'm making a change of my own. Not afraid of changes :)

The best day, is the day I handed in my resignation letter. That look on my boss's face, haha. Precious! So he thought I was thattt desperate to stay, huh?

Having to leave Kuantan was the hardest thing to do. I didn't only meet colleagues, I made friends. I met people. They have a special spot in my heart for bringing another meaning to my life.

And then, Hello KL! Hello new office!

Life is changing rapidly, literally. I'm tired but happy, exhausted but contented, now that my supercousins and girlriends are near, I feel complete.

Last but not least, the AFF Suzuki Cup 1st Leg Final. I've sang the Negaraku with the other 80k of us,. Have you?

And somebody came back for good. I miss him, but yeah, i'd spare some time before maybe I see him.

Maybe I will. Maybe, I won't.

2010; Football, Blackberry, KL and HP. and every little things of this and that.

Awesome. Totally.

Free Shoes

About a month ago, after I moved to Kerteh, futsies at Kuantan called to ask me to join their team in a netball tournament.

As a sucker for netball, I waited no any second to say Yes!

So there we were, 6 of us, a young and dangerous team, all clad in black jerseys (scary much!) versus the team of makcik-makcik whom has been playing netball since they were young, and teams of women who have never played netball.



But the rules for the tournament was; NO RULES.

Netball with no freaking rules are literally... throwing balls. So, the 6 of us, mostly players for the company, the state, the school, district, lost big time. WE DONT KNOW HOW TO PLAY WITH OUT RULES. it's just... ridiculous.

So yeah.. the makcik2 all went, HAHA young and dangerous but LOST big time, jersy siap ade number lah apelah *shameful*

Haha ok funny funny LOL

then I thought, ah what the hell. Might as well go and play basketball. Just my luck, there was this free shooting competition and who shoots the most, wins.

My lucky basketball day, I shooted THE MOST! *kembang hidung* So I won this voucher from Parkson.



How much does it worth? yeah, good enough to buy me this pair of shoes!



The netball champion, can't even buy half of this.

I'm losing hopes towards Germany. They should be able to take down Ghana but as of now, the 35th minutes, i don't see anything like dat.

Aahh. Just bought the black Germany jersey from brother and saving it to wear at least at the semi but guess have to return without refund. sucks.

Hello All. Ah akhirnya dapat bernafas dengan tenang tanpa mempedulikan butterfly butterfly in the stomach. The sports week has ended, at least for me lah. And we scored 5th/6th out of 6 in all games.

Worth all sweats you say? Hurm. I pretty much choose to disagree.

Kalau ditanya, apa yang I paling kecewa. Haruslah I kata Futsal. Why? Let me tell you this. I mahu tulis ini so that one year ahead I buka blog I and tengok what have I done. Adakah I ebrcakap tak serupa bikin?

Futsal.

I have to say we all are actually well prepared. Considering two main factors;

1) Lack of players
2) Short of time

Our coach have actually did a good job preparing us for the battle. We are occupied with abilities and tactics, BUT, but we are lack of skills. Plus kita memang tidak cukup players. We have to grab the trainees but they were disqualified to play. Then our mid-striker cedera. Then I'm not a good goalkeeper.

This is serious. I think I'm best as a defender but since tak ramai nak main, and yang nak main tu mostly takut nak sambut-sambut bola, I have to volunteer. Lepastu I ni dahlah tak alert, sakit lutut pulak. Nak rebah-rebah pon tak boleh. Mulalah bola masuk celah kangkang lah apelah. Eee bila mengingatkan buat sakit hati je rase macam apesal bodoh sangat die niiiii

So our next plan is to keep on training. Buat friendly match and all. I akan mula cari apprentice for goalkeeper. And we all will start to search high and low for possible players yang bukan saja boleh main but also willing to fork out some $$$ to pay for coaching and court. Maybe kita akan join a few open tournament and also find sponsors. We are serious about this. Hopefully, plan ni tak bertukar lah. and hopefully our coach still bersemangat nak coach us.

This year ok fine pencapaian terhebat ialah boleh masuk tournament futsal. But next year kena make sure menang!

Volleyball

Line up kita hebat, tapi I rasa nasib tidak menyebelahi kita. Satu I percaya kita tak cukup training. Last minute baru nak mula tu pon duk clash ngan netball/futsal/badminton/pingpong. Tapi yang hebatnya kita boleh bagi challenge. Diorang tak menang mudah =)

This one year I nekad nak join diorang training every 2 weeks. Luckily we have a coach yang jugak bersemangat. Next year I will make sure if I tidak tersenarai dalam 1st 6 line up pon I akan duduk kerusi pertama di back bench. That is if ada player nak keluar orang first dia akan panggil is me. I seriously wanna learn volleyball!

Netball

We started with a weak 1st 7. Most of our players are either retired/transfered/ on maternity leave / on vacation / clashed with other games. Sedih. Kita terpaksa turunkan our backbench from last year, including me. But we all were committed to play. Cuma tak cukup training and ramai orang baru that were never even exposed to netball.

Kesimpulannya I macam merajuklah dengan netball. I selalu bagi chan tapi tak pernah menang. Next year MAYBE I won't play for netball, nak concentrate futsal and volleyball, and nak main 1 indoor game POSSIBLY chess. Kalau main netball pon mungkin nak main attack. Takde luck lah as defend.

Tapi netball dah sebati lah dalam jiwa. How?

Esok sepatutnya ada semi final Volleyball. But we didn't make it.

Tak apalah. Rehat rehat sahaja. Lusa nak main netball.

I'm still upset we lost Futsal. We should've win.

Aih.

Tak apalah. Tahun depan main dengan lebih bagus yer future champion!

Ohhhhh I dah beli kasut baru! I'm serious about this futsal thingy. I wanna be the champion!

Kasut emas darling. Tak menang lagi maknenye bukan salah tournament dah. Tapi salah game!

Maybe boleh bakar kasut and start aktif main teng teng.

Ok nak tido awal esok patutnya mandi pool di Awana Kijal dengan Maghfarah tapi convenor netball nak datang pagi-pagi untuk training. Aih.

Jom menang netball jom. Sume kalah jer. Bosan.

Helo everyone. I just had a great weekend at Kuala Lumpur.

We did not win the Futsal tournament. Yes of course we are underdog, but we did not lose badly. 3 draws and 1 lost, quite an impression isn't it? some of us made it to the selection for the next tournament. macam mula mula wakil sekolah then dapat wakil daerah macam tuhla.

I hate to say that yours truly were also one of em but since I dibuang daerah so I tak dapatlah main wakil daerah haha.

Anyway thank you futsies for the great weekend. We rock :P and I'm so happpy to spend 12 hours with my cousins and 10 hours with my bebebs. Miss you all already =(

Sebelum saya mengundurkan diri izinkan saya menunjukkan jadual saya for the next 2 weeks. In case you miss me, you know where to find me :)



Oh Oh congrats to Salmahs and Threnodys. 1st and 3rd place? U guys deserve it!
