Tahun Melawat Melaka 2012

I have always wanna go to Melaka, but the last time we wanted to go there my Tok passed away so the trip was canceled. I think thatw as the second time my Melaka trip was canceled, the first time was with Sundies.

So this time, rain or no rain, jammed or no jammed, Melaka here we go.
Except that of course, the rain and the jammed, took almost 80% of our trips haha.

And what's up with the queue wehhhh it's so long like 1000 people standing infront of us.

But Asam Pedas, ofcourse.
Nevertheless Melaka, you're so beautiful. I will surely comeback, on a hot sunny day, maybe Wednesday to avoid the weekend crowd, and I will find a gooooooooood parking haha.

But on top of all, family time, precious :)

Since the 12 hours shift started the hardest thing I had to do is to make people understand
As if I matter.
Attending birthday parties, occasional family dinner, being a transporter and runner, can't that all wait until I'm go off shift?

Sometimes I go off shift for 4 days and did nothing, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING SERIOUSLY, and immediately I started my shift, EVERYTHING decided to come and beg for my time.

Seriously people, can we all make some parallel plans over here.

I like this new shift pattern, let me work, just spare some room for understanding.

Coming back from a long journey to a house with no electricity, my housemate sure gets an awful mouthful series of screams and shouts from me. Yup my patience and respect could go beyond limit if you do not appreciate the existence at the first place.

One perfect wedding reception for 2 couples, double the joy!

ps: if you do not cook, don't claim your husband's favourite is bread + scramble eggs and give it a fancy name eg American Breakfast. Have some dignity and don't tweet about it.

The Day We Find Love

I'm flying again tomorrow, to Kota Bharu for Piyi and Zahir's reception. Double reception yo, must be huge!

Was on night shift for 3 days now, not sure how I'm taking it, but my body clock seems to not be dealing with it very well. Sigh. Still not sleepy daytime, hard to keep myself awake night time especially early morning before subuh and whats up with being hungry ALL THE TIME



The other day in Fullhouse Setia City Mall, while waiting for our order this song came out. Me and Kakchik took almost till the end of the song to figure out the song title and the band. Today is the reminiscing day. Aisha tweeted about playing BSB all the way in her journey tonight, sweet.

One fine day we shall put all the sweet songs in one disc and play it while we drive up to nowhere until we ran out of gas and touch and go and fall in love once again :)

Rescue

Was on a 4 days tour from KL to Johor to Singapore to Pahang to Terengganu to Kelantan and now back to KL again.

I could be a rockstar. I should be a rockstar.

Arriving in Putrajaya via Transnasional from Kota Bharu, after a tiresome 9 hours night journey, met Aaron and it refused to start.

Bummer.

I was in Johor for Piyi and Liza's wedding, went to Singapore for a day trip with le parents, and now back to Terengganu.

Lin and Fizree got married the same day as my cousin, there was no contemplation, I was very sure I would certainly pick my cousin, but to make it up to my roomie I promise her I would attend the groom's side in Kelantan tomorrow.

So hitting the road again. Hurm. While our health still allows, might as well we don't complain about being tired and stuff. 

Skyfall

I am no longer young. last minute call to midnite movie at 1230am should be answered with no if I have to work the next day.

but Skyfall, blergh, who bloody hell says no to James Bond.

Speaking of young, the other day, my first time of 8pm-8am shift, I was so damn sleepy and even vomited twice. sigh. I long for the day when I was 21 and staying up from dinner to breakfast is a routine.

Last night after a quick dinner with Aisha Mama called to inform that I may have to do a quick packing now because today after work, I may have to join her.

Seriously, Mama, called me at 1030pm to do a quick packing? If everything goes as plan I'm travelling across 5 states and 2 Countries in 4 days now how is quick packing even possible.

And you know I master the area of packing.

I hope I have everything as needed and ready to hit the road.

Aku Terima Nikahnya

a lot had happened since last week.

Kak Ewie got married to Rais. 

I miss my flight and extended my holiday in Kota Bharu for another 3 days.

Precious precious time.

But,

it's time for people to realise that wedding is a one time thing, and marriage is the one that is supposed to last forever.

for better or worse, for sickness and health, till death do us part.

sigh.

the new 12 hours shift work has started, so far so good but so boring, so boring. somebody help me!

Sacrifice for Raya Haji

With the new schedule coming around it's so hard for me to juggle my time between the odd working hours and the so many leaves I have to take to attend people's weddings.

And so it happens so many of my so close and beloved ones got married in this near 3 weeks, with Kak Ewie on this Raya Haji, followed by Piyie 2 weeks later, on the same date with my beloved Rumet, which extends till 13th and Amad on 25th.

When the new shift schedule comes out I have to pick which of the wedding I have to sacrifice because I have to work on weekends, so I told Mama I may not be able to make it to Johor on Piyie's wedding day but I'll be back to Kota Bharu for the groom side, which I think is more important since that is our side.

And you can hear that disappointment in Mama's tone I can't afford to listen so the first thing I did today is to find someone to replace my shift on that day.

I can never make my mother happy. My job is not making her happy, my relationship status is not making her happy, my choice of living, my income, the car I chose to drive, the way I chose to manage my time, the clothes I chose to wear, never will make her happy. So this time maybe I may.

As much as I was happy not being able to attend a family affair which sometimes breaks my heart because my uncles, aunties and cousins really know how to humiliate me with all the 'bila lagi 'things, asking me in front of people, condemning me with saying things like 'nobody wants you because you're fat', you know, joking poking like its so funny HA-HA, and because I am hardcore like that, I have to smile and pretend the jokes are all funny HA-HA let's laugh HA-HA

But Piyie is not at fault, Piyie is a very nice cousin and he'll be there no matter what and so I will too, so I'm sacrifing being happy when I can.

I wish I can tell them to leave me alone but I guess I'm not that hardcore.
I wish I am really hardcore.

Something good will come along, will come along, will come along.

7 Eleven

So starting next week i will be on 24/7 shift, yeay! i will have to work on weekends and overnight, yeay!

As much as it sounds like it's a pain in the ass but I am actually a bit excited and cannot wait to start the new shift, only to be looking at the schedule and my shift started with OFF DAYS

already putting me in good mood.

and the best thing is, i will be on leave for 7 DAYS including the Raya Haji.

What a way to start a new shift.

Now since I have bought flight ticket on Monday morning, I shall continue my 4 days suddenly off days doing la-la-ing, or maybe roadtripping?

So today in the surau I saw this woman carrying a Birkin. My heart literally stop beating. I am not the kind of person who adores brands and stuff, but Birkin is Birkin. Seriously, Birkin?

I think I even say it in my prayer that this Birkin better be Original. Because what kind of woman would carry a fake Birkin? Have you no self respect at all?

I get fake Fendi, Prada, Chanel, Dior, but no woman should carry a fake Birkin. It's like the mother of all bags!

Believe me all night I have put all my energy, trying to wrap the logic ideas around my brain that this woman, could afford a Birkin.

Girlpower

Moving out completed. I got superb helps from kawan dari syurga; Dell, saa, and Raja. My God my friends are silly but aren't they superwomen?

They helped me packed. I swear I have tonnes of stuffs just safely kept in an invisible galaxy that just appeared when it's time to move. Just nicely fit with the fact that I am already 'champion' in the arena of packing.

So Dell and Saa were the first to arrive only to realize that I have not put a single thing into a box or a bag, so I have to listen to them NAGGING me the whole time (but their hands were moving so fast all my things were packed AND UNPACKED in a blink of eye).

And then Raja arrived just as we're about to transport all my very important stuffs from Kak Ewie's house to Kak Mona's. The girls, tho heavy, are tough. My previous house was in level 5, we have to take every single thing down the stairs (no elevators) to new house at level 2. NO HELP FROM GUYS! Pats on your back girlfriends!

They also helped me to assemble all those important furnitures I got from IKEA to store all my importantttt stuffs. And helped me to rearrange the room (feng shui and whatnots), hang the curtains, Saa even helped to clean up my fan.

And later that night, Dell and Raja slept over for rounds of scary movies and besen-maggi. Girls just wanna have fun.

My friends are sweethearts. No wonder my parents let me come to city on my own. They know I'm safe in good hands.

In pursue of private wedding.

I don't get the purpose of strangers attending strangers' wedding. Like today Che Su was asking Kak Ewie to spare a wedding invitation for Kak Leen's mum because 'Kak Leen's mum is nice'. And Kak Ewie went like, 'really? I've never met her'

This is just another classic case of a stranger coming to a stranger's wedding. Just because 'mama went to the same school with her a thousand years ago' doesn't mean I want her at my wedding.

The only strangers I want at my wedding is my bee's family and friends, other than that, I don't need some 'people I went to somewhere with'. Not important.

The thing is, is this request too much? Is it even logic? If it is why do I still find strange cards in my mum's drawer and when I ask her 'whose card is this mum?' She'd say something like 'oh the some-people daughter/son'.

Can't we invite guests which only the brides and bridegrooms can recognize. Afterall its their day, right?

I am so hooked to this. Been watching it thousand times, putting it on the loop, I can't get enough of this.

I think girls will never grow out of crush for David Beckham.

I remember having a HUGE POSTER of David Beckham when I was still a little girl and a HUGE mug with Bekham's pic on it (both thanks to Pepsi). and a Manchester United cap because Love for Beckham blinded me haha.

Look at him, so decent, so polite, so handsome, smells so good, so selekeh at the same time. SO MY TYPE haha.

But of course Beckham also have his annoying side (if you watch this till the end you'll geddit). because all guys are annoying. but it's always nicer to look at a good looking annoying guy righttt.

2 and half years, 5 semesters of living together. This is the person who copes a lot with my attitude (I have attitudes!)

I remember feeling so down and rumek asked me what I wanna do and I said 'I nak jalan kat padang and tengok bintang' and rumek said JOM.

The fact that we both grew up in the same area makes us closer apart from of course the fact that she's so great to be around with.

40days to go before she becomes somebody else's roommate (whateverrrrr), today is her birthday.

Run Maryam Run

Went to watch tennis for the first time with rumek. What a nice change, makes me wants to play tennis instantly. HOT WEHHH TENNIS PLAYER ZZZZzZZzzzZZzZ

Back from the game quite late, went for  quick grab with the girls at Bubba Gump Sunway Pyramid. can't believe we all are so grown up and everything but yeah, we still spill drinks and poke each other a lot.

Magh says Maryam throws tantrum a lot lately, but she never does when she's with us. I guess maybe she knows her aunties don't handle tantrum kids that well haha.

She always runs around, it's so cute, not so cute when aunties have to also run, kena sangat dengan concept run forrest run kan.

Jodoh yang Mudah

This year is full with surprises from le cousins.

Fifi suddenly announced that she was getting married, a month ago, and the solemnization was last night.

And then before the event, we were shocked, or surprised, with the news that my cousin, Zahir, is getting married, NEXT MONTH!

how the hell do people plan their weddings in a very short time I have no idea. But I guess luxury of money can buy the luxury of time so maybe that is it.

Fact is, Zahir is getting married a few days after Piyie, and reception will be held on the same day for both (which is actually Piyie's reception and suddenly like hello add one more couple here please). 

I have no idea how Piyie took the news tho since he has been planning for his big day since forever and his brother is like, k man i'm coming with you. 

Waw mudahnya jodoh bagi sesetengah orang kan?

Hitched

Eza is getting married. 

Eza was my futsie, she was the closest to me.

When you have a lot of things in common that it's easier to talk that it's easier to survive KL-Kuantan trips then you know a person is close to you.

She was pretty if not the prettiest. But she's so boyish but so jiwang juga sometimes. 

And she's always pening demam athma and sakit perut. 

But she is one hell of a great sportsperson! she can playyy everyything.

She's our star!

I didn't like Eza at the first place. She has this terrible Aussie slang and what makes it worst is she always speaks english! 

we didn't speak english that much back in Kuantan so you know what I mean.

And 2009 we were on our netball trip and Eza asked me to share room with her.

And there I saw, she's nice (tho she was always pening that time too).

She was the first to know I was quitting from iPerintis as she was the one to send me to HP interview.

We were together a lot back then. 

She had thousandssss of relationships problems. 

Then again quoting grey's anatomy, 'I thought life is easy for pretty people'.

And out of nowhere here comes Fb wedding invitation of Eza and Dean.

I didnt's see it coming!

Seeing Dean's name i laughed hard I almost rolled on the floor.

Really can't believe they survived all the drama ;p

Ahh we should have another round of futsal together before you got knocked up, Eza. 

Goodbye Kobs.

I don't think I will be able to ever forget that day in Kamdar Kuala Terengganu when me, Kaykay and Kobs ride on a escalator and it stopped. Ultimate fatjoke.

Kobs is like that. Kobs is the 'all-to-go' man. The 'Kobs jom g Kamdar' man. The 'Kobs tiket bas takdok, anto aku balik dungun' and drove 200km to send me back - man. The 'Kobs becilah akuu blabla' man.

And then Kobs got married and decided to migrate to Japan to follow his student wifey Izyan.

And then things will change, surely, eventually. But as for now,

I bet Kobs will not last even 1 year in Japan haha.

One Night Stand with Adam Levine

10 things, 10 things about last night I will never. never. never forget.

1) Adam ada misai. Ya Allah. Demi tuhan kacaknya mu Adam. Sumpah hensem. A mix of Van Persie and Casillas.

2) Adam did Gangnam Style. So today, the first thing I did, is to watch Gangnam on youtube. Haha. Have been resisting to watch it since it became so mainstream. but once Adam acknowledge it, I can't ignore it haha.

3) My goodness isn't the lead guitarist James Valentines a sweetheart? And he'e cute too and HE CAN SING.

4) Adam was on drum, and guitar, and amazing vocals. Super multitalented and handsome and smells so good too.

5) Adam did Sexyback by JT. reminds me of this one scene from The Voice when Xtina said 'Adam was trying to be all Timberlake and stuff' haha.

6) Adam. So. Freaking. Hot. And. Sexy. Like. Seriously. like. all the moves, turn me on darling. turn me on.

7) Adam asked me (us. the whole crowd) if I (we) have the Overexposed album yet and I (we all) said yes so I feel obliged to go and get a copy of it the soonest! hehe

8) Adam personally loves Daylight of Overexposed. Note to self, memorize the entire song.

9) Adam said the next time they are here make sure the whole stadium is filled. Get the keyword, NEXT TIME.

Sundies Gone

Kob's wedding was one hell of a journey. From Tampin to Kajang, to Dungun to KT to Telemung, I was on an Amazing Race.

So sad we missed Kobs on Kereta Kuda. Yes I pon taktau why Kobs so bercita-cita naik kuda bagai.

But it was a perfect afternoon, perfect people perfect jokes and perfect food, it worth every cent of of every minute of every journey.

Now with Kobs, Amad, and Aizu are married, I guess it's time for me and Kaykies to move on lah, since all sundies boys are taken, there'll be no more party for sundies on sundays at Uncle Chua.

Plus Kobs is flying to Japan to follow his wife. I guess Sundies are pretty much over.

Argh moving on is hard, but the sooner you move the sooner you'll get there!

Shima is now Mrs Paih. I really hate Paih for making Shima do this. But whatever!

I love the wedding. I felt involved and I enjoyed it (everything has to be really about me kan? haha). Shima's family is so cool =) I now understand where shima got her traits haha.

And she was so bloodyhell pretty too. I still hate her for doing this.

But today was extra special, for this.

This one is for all the prayers and hopes (of mine and all yours) that we'll be back in one frame one day. Alhamdulillah.

Now I'm in Terengganu, back for Koba's wedding. I hate Koba too.

I went to the stadium with le cousins Kak Chik (24), Haziq (22) and Hazim (20). Yes I purposely put their age so you know how young they are. So kind of them to ajak this makcik tua join them.

Well you know people my age are so busy with real life issues like buying houses or getting married or makig babies. I'm stiill in lala land cursing the ref for not giving us corner when we deserved it.

They say grow up doesn't mean grow old.

Grow fat doesn't count by the way.

Thinkin Bout You

Spent the last weekend on the road, on Saturday and lying on my back one whole day, on Sunday.

It was too much I guess, for a 26yo, to come back from work at 11pm, and continue party which ends at 5am, slept for 3hours before waking up for a brunch with girlfriends. And later, 3 open houses, from Setapak to Kota Kemuning to Puncak Alam. Traffic wasn't helpful either.

And Sunday, I spent one whole day reflecting myself in the mirror (more like reflection from Kak Ewie's 42 inches LED tv haha) it's been a while since I lay down one whole day and showered at 4pm. Later for dinner, Piyie and Liza decided to stop, have to literally drag my ass in sleepsuits to the restaurant LOL!

The bridesmaid dress #5 is here. Anticipation for the weekend's wedding is so damn high!
